Tracy Porter Joins Denver Broncos

Stay connected for news and updates

Former Saint CB Tracy Porter has just agreed to a one year deal with the Denver Broncos. Well, there's one player we won't have to wonder if we'll have on the team to start the season due to impending suspensions. Porter will now join the same team as Peyton Manning, the QB he picked off in Super Bowl XLIV to seal the championship for the Saints.

The Port Allen native was a second-round pick of the Saints in 2008, and he made two of the biggest plays in franchise history, intercepting Brett Favre and Manning en route to the franchise's first Super Bowl championship. Porter, who is still just 25 years old, has 39 career starts in 43 regular-season games with seven interceptions, four forced fumbles and two funble recoveries. In six career playoff games, all starts, he has two interceptions and a forced fumble.

Thanks for the memories, Tracy, and good luck in Denver.
