Remember the site pre-bounty gate? Things were pretty quiet around here. Normal, I guess for the off-season. Personally I thought it was slower than normal because of the painful loss at SF.
Thought I do a little checking with Site Meter and see what The Bounty scandal had meant. After the jump we'll see some comparisons.Current page views and visits.

While not a good time for The Saints or the Fans, it has been a good time for the Site, and I would almost bet for SB Nation's other NFL Fan sites as well. Also Dave was very shrewd to pick this time for breaking in new writers. So while we have been hung out to dry so to speak, as a Team, you can see why it has remained front page news for so many. Some are making lots of money off of this.
That is all. Feel free to comment below, and maybe you will understand why sooooo many of the pundits, or douches, however you like to call them, are riding this for all it's worth. And while I'm sure Dave is making his share, I think we can all agree, he has not been overly positive or negative, about the situation. Yes he is a fan, and is a little biased, but he has largely avoided putting on the outrageous spins, that so many others have.
