The first three rounds of the 2012 NFL Draft are officially in the books but the draft action will continue today at 11am CST with rounds four through seven.
New Orleans selected defensive tackle Akiem Hicks late in the third round last night with their one and only pick of the draft so far but have no fear because the later rounds are where the Saints shine. Since 2006, the team has been able to find four Pro-Bowlers and many more starters in rounds three through seven.
The Saints have four more opportunities to address their needs today in the final four rounds. Here are their remaining picks in this years draft:
| Round | Pick | Overall |
| 4 | 27 | 122 |
| 5 | 27 | 162 |
| 6 | 9 | 179 (from Miami) |
| 7 | 27 | 234 |
Now that they've already found some help on the defensive line with their first pick this year, the Saints can check off other positions of need with their remaining draft selections, most notably the secondary and offensive line. Other possibilities would be tight end and wide receiver.
Who will the Saints draft today and will they have success finding yet another diamond in the rough? Stay tuned!
