Nick Toon became the newest New Orleans Saint when the team selected him in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft on Saturday.

Kevin Spain quoted Vitt, then Carmichael in his quickie post on nola.com:
"He has great pedigree and wide receivers coach Henry Ellard really liked him," said Saints interim coach Joe Vitt. "He's a polished route runner right now, and he can make the big play."
"We're really excited about the pick."
"He's a real smart guy so he's going to be able to play multiple positions for us," said Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael. "His hands and reach remind me of (Marques) Colston. we like the way this guy can run routes."
