I'm not saying he doesn't deserve the 23mil a year he is asking for but I mean come on. The guy couldn't give his team a hometown discount? All this talk about how he wanted to keep all our guys around and what-not was just posturing for the media. He couldn't even settle for 20mil to help us out with the cap squeeze. Don't get me wrong I love Brees but he has just set this organization back a couple of years because of his exorbitant demands Even with all the new acquisitions it just won't be the same (in a few years maybe) . Is there no loyalty anymore in the NFL? Is it all "just business" now? If so, than things are not looking up because what happened to the Saints could happen to any team.
