The New Orleans Saints have signed offensive lineman DeOn'tae Pannell after his rookie tryout during this weekend's mini-camp.
Larry Holder of CBS Sports confirmed the signing with Brandon Taylor, Pannell's agent:
The Saints have signed OL DeOn'tae Pannell after Pannell participated on a tryout basis during this weekend's rookie mini-camp, Brandon Taylor, Pannell's agent told CBSSports.com. The Saints hosted Pannell for a visit before the draft so the team had its eye on him.
Sounds good to me. The 6'5" 325lbs. Pannell is a versatile lineman who can play both tackle and guard.
