Vilma v. Goodell

Today, Jonathan Vilma sued NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in federal court. The lawsuit consists of ten counts of defamation and one cause of action for intentional infliction of emotional distress. Ultimately, Vilma alleges that various statements made by Roger Goodell related to him and the bounty program are untrue. This is the latest twist in the bounty program story, and is definitely an interesting one and perhaps, one that the NFL did not predict to occur.

I summarize the case here: http://wp.me/p1FEIJ-a1
