The fact of the matter is that a coach preached a bad philosophy, that players bought in to and now as much as it seems the players are paying for bad coaching. Son of a bitch, Goodell wake up.

This has been the norm in the league ever since the early days to one degree or another, but to make an example out of the 4 players is just wrong. No cheap shots should not be allowed but suspending a player for the year is crap. A fine and possibly a couple of games (Ndamukong Suh blatanly stomping on a player while he was down on the ground.) with a reprimand, but the full year is insane, with no team contact.

This campaign of player safety and protecting the ones on the field is understandable, but your Gestapo style of leadership is getting out of hand. You are the commissioner, meaning that you take the rules and laws of the game and administer fair punishment, you can not make up your own rules and punishment to appease the media and make yourself look good. Then if that is the fact there should be an ability of "Impeachment", you are handing out judgements like a dictator rules a country. Now is the time for the NFLPA to take drastic action, Goodell has become a poster boy for what is going wrong in the league and he is feeding off the media, like a fly on garbage.
