The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with defensive tackle Remi Ayodele, according to the team's official Twitter account:

Saints have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with DT Remi Ayodele

Welcome back, Remi! After leaving the Saints following the 2010 season, Ayodele played all 16 games for the Minnesota Vikings last season, starting 13 of them.

This is good news and I like the signing, especially from a depth standpoint. Ayodele hasn't been amazing but he's always been a reliable backup and a decent starter when necessary.

The Saints have already lost Shaun Rogers via free agency, so the defensive tackles currently on the roster, in addition to Ayodele, are Sedrick Ellis, Brodrick Bunkley, Swanson Miller, Tom Johnson and Mitch King. You can add Akiem Hicks' name to that list once he signs.
