I've said before I wouldn't pick sides in Brees contact negotiations untill I knew some numbers. Now there is pretty solid evidence that Drew is being offered more money than Manning, Brady and of course Rodgers. All quarterbacks that are on par if not better than Drew. I personally would take Drew over all them. Manning being old/injured and the other two having bad attitudes.

But with this hold up I believe Drew is developing an attitude, and I question his want to be a saint. They have offered him fair and then more than fair money. Unless the saints are not giving him any guarantees (the only out IMO), he should have signed already and he is holding the saints hostage because we need him here. So I say sign already Drew or are you really going to hold out on the highest paying contract in NFL history??
