The NFL is trying to change the current Injured Reserve rule. Under the old rule, once a player was put on IR, he was done for the year.
Under the new rule, every team could activate one player from the list, after the eighth game of the season. The owners love this rule, but the players union has yet to give them the O K. If the it does pass, will it be good or bad for the game we love?
