Who's Hot

Malcolm Jenkins - The free safety made a diving interception over the middle on a Drew Brees throw.

The defense in general - They got the better of the offense today. Jenkins had a pick, the defensive line batted down two passes and Will Smith got in the backfield on a third-down play to break it up.

Who's Not

Chris Ivory - With Darren Sproles out with a knee injury, Ivory is blowing a good opportunity at some extra reps. He fumbled today and jumped early on a Brees hard count.

ESPN - They're looking like a bunch of douchebags now that the Mickey Loomis wiretapping accusation appears to be completely bogus.

Reason to be Optimistic

Not only did Patrick Robinson make his triumphant return to practice today after a shoulder injury, but he came back with a vengeance. Patrick had the play of the day when he intercepted a jump ball instead of the much taller Marques Colston.

Reason to be Pessimistic

How consistent is this team? Plenty of mental errors today drew the ire of coach Joe Vitt, who made the team run sprints.
