Saints LB Chamberlain Injures ACL, Out For Season

New Orleans Saints linebacker Chris Chamberlain tweeted that he tore his ACL during the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars Friday night and is out for the season.

Definitely been feeling the love of my friends, family, and the #WHODATNATION! Unfortunately my season is over but working for 2013 begins!

"@G_Higg: @Chambo57 Sorry to hear Chris. ACL?" Yes, went to plant and knee just buckled

Larry Holder posted the news on the nola.com, and Bradley Handwerger was on it for wwltv.com.

I'd call this a medium-sized blow, as Handwerger says Chamberlain was running with the second team, backing up at the middle and weakside, while contributing on special teams. But if you feel this is a differently-sized deal, I'm open to convincing in the comment thread.
