I used the depth chart and team needs for every NFL team and performed my 7 round mock draft. I was completely unbiased (not skipping guys so they would fall to the Saints). It seems this draft is loaded with defense. Because of how the posts show, I can't just post my entire mock, but I will give you my Saints picks...
I have to say, I like the positions we ended up with, but not quite sure about the players. However they were of the top available, and they also fit needs.... Let me know what you think and if you would be happy with these picks.
1st - Sam Montgomery, DE LSU
3rd - Ricky Wagner, OT Wisconsin
4th - Jelani Jenkins, OLB Florida
5th - Darius Slay, CB Miss ST
6th - Cameron Lawrence, OLB Miss St
I wanted to get another lineman at some point but didn't feel it was best choice. A couple Centers and Guards were available in the 5th and 6th but I went elsewhere. What would you grade this draft?
