Pro Football Focus takes a look at the number of first downs and TDs allowed by safeties last year. Unsurprisingly both Harper and Jenkins ranked near the bottom of the league. Harper conceded a first down or TD on 5,27% of his snaps (4th) while Jenkins did so on 4,29% of his snaps (9th). However, what is surprising is to see Abdul-Quddus allowed a TD or first down only on 1,56% of his snaps which was good for eighth best among safeties last year. It wouldn't be unexpected to see him become a starter next season.
