Before we start talking about the NFL Draft for the next three months, let's all agree on how the Saints should use their first round pick.
We're going to get started talking about the 2013 NFL Draft and potential Saints draft picks because, well, what the hell else are we gonna do?
But before we start throwing out names and get into specifics, I thought we should set the table first and have an open and honest discussion about just what this Saints team needs most. So let's talk about what position the Saints should try to target in this year's draft.
Obviously we can narrow it down to the defensive side of the ball, right? Yeah, I hear some people say offensive guard; I'm not one of those people. The Saints need to find themselves a quick fix for this defense. I know it, you know it, and they know it.
Personally, I'd love to see them grab a dominant pass rusher. But that's just me. I want to hear what all of you guys think. So let's get this NFL Draft discussion kicked off.
Don't forget to go ahead and cast your vote in the poll below. You'll notice that running back isn't listed as an option. That was done intentionally.
