Saints vs. Bills 2013: Ode to Buffalo ("Home on the Range" Parody)

Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

In the spirit of friendly competitive fandom... the songwriter strikes again! This time, a song to welcome the Buffalo Bills to the Superdome.

So it's been a couple of weeks, and -- despite the requests that I share these before the games -- I admittedly wrestled with whether or not to do so. But, given that we've only lost one of the three times that I've posted them, I figured I would toss out another one this week. After all, the Saints have won a couple of games in their black pants this season; so how much can little me really jinx things? And for our visiting Bills fans... this is all in good fun. Here's looking forward to a good game day tomorrow!

As usual, I've embedded a video with the original song... in case you can't get the tune in your head.

Enjoy!

Home, Home in the Dome
(Home on the Range Parody)

Oh come to our home, in the great Superdome.
Where the Saints from New Or-le-ans play.
Where you'll see the stands, full of great Who Dat fans,
And the Saints tend to win out the day.

Sproles, Colston, and Stills,
Making light of the Buffalo Bills.
Their team's in discord, ‘cause they can't hear a word,
Of their quarterback's line audibles.

Hundreds through the air, it just doesn't seem fair,
Drew Brees is, as you might know, elite.
While Pierre and Khiry... and Sproles show they can be
Also quite dangerous on their feet.

Sproles, Colston, and Stills,
Making light of the Buffalo Bills.
Their team's in discord, ‘cause they can't hear a word,
Of their quarterback's line audibles.

Galette and Jordan, will put Thad on his can,
Likely four or five times at the least.
Interception returned, and the Bills will have learned
That Kenny Vaccaro is a beast.

Sproles, Colston, and Stills,
Making light of the Buffalo Bills.
Their team's in discord, ‘cause they can't hear a word,
Of their quarterback's line audibles.

Moore scores on a sweep, Meachem catches one deep.
Hartley hits... from beyond forty five.
And Thomas Morstead, really gets in their head
Even when we don't score on a drive.

Sproles, Colston, and Stills,
Making light of the Buffalo Bills.
Their team's in discord, ‘cause they can't hear a word,
Of their quarterback's line audibles.
