Saints News, 10/3/13: Saints Will Travel to Chicago on Friday Due To Tropical Storm Karen

Coach Payton said today the team will travel to Chicago a day early in order to avoid any possible Saturday weather delays caused by Tropical Storm Karen. They will depart Friday afternoon after practice and hold their normal Saturday walk-through at a Chicago field close to their hotel. In other news, Jimmy Graham becomes the first tight end to ever earn Offensive Player of the Month honors. Congrats to the Graham Reaper. He's only just getting started, folks. Saints Preparing for Bears

New Orleans Saints will travel to Chicago on Friday due to Tropical Storm Karen
Typically the Saints hold a walk-through at the team’s facility on Saturday before departing off for a road game. Payton said they would use a field near their hotel on Saturday for the walk-through.

No NFL team is more sensitive to what weather can do than the Saints. And even though Tropical Storm Karen doesn't appear to be a big one (although a mild hurricane is kind of like a mild concussion, i.e., one that happens to someone else), the Saints aren't taking any chances.
