Saints vs. Cowboys Sunday Night Football Recap: Links, Tweets, & Video From the Saints' 49-17 Domination of the Cowboys

Stacy Revere

The final score doesn't even really convey how much the Saints dominated the Cowboys as they rolled to an easy home victory last night and improved to a record of 7-2. Had they not eased off late in the game they might have hung a 60-burger on them. Rob Ryan's defense suffocated Tony Romo and the Cowboys offense most of the game and Mark Ingram finally broke out for the first time this season against a Cowboys defense that often times made the 2012 Saints defense look like the Dome Patrol. The Saints also set an NFL record by converting 40 first downs! Next up, an angry 49ers team comes to town fresh off their close loss to the impressive Panthers.
