Saints vs. Rams Sunday Recap: Saints Implode During Yet Another Ugly Road Performance

Scott Kane-USA TODAY Sports

The 2013 Saints are a story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Suck. This is NOT a championship caliber team. Even Coach Payton seemed resigned to that fact when describing his frustration with yet another embarrassing road loss during his postgame press conference. I've never seen him look so disheartened after a loss. It was like he was just coming to accept that his team has some major problems that maybe he was unwilling to acknowledge before. This offensive line is a mess and special teams play is abysmal. Payton's clock management is also questionable. It's baffling that they did not immediately go into a hurry-up mode offense at the end of the third quarter and into the fourth quarter when down by three scores. W!T!F!!!
