Saints News, 12/17/13: Playoffs Begin This Week For Saints

Wesley Hitt

That's not exactly true but it might as well be as the Saints prepare to battle the Carolina Panthers for what will probably wind up being the NFC South championship, the no. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs, a first round bye, and at least one home playoff game. The stakes couldn't be higher and the Saints have only themselves to blame when it looked like only three weeks ago that they would easily lock up all of these important postseason factors. Can they win on the road this week or will they collapse once again outside the Superdome?
