Saints News, 12/2/13: FINALLY! Saints vs. Seahawks Tonight!

Otto Greule Jr

It seems like we've been waiting all season for this matchup and now it's finally here. The sports media has hyped it as an in-season playoff game where the winner will likely secure NFC home-field advantage. That's a bit of a stretch with four regular season games remaining and neither team having an upcoming cakewalk schedule, but it's hard to argue that this is a very important battle for both teams. Our Saints find themselves in the rare position of underdog in this one. That's probably exactly where Coach Payton wants to be. His powers of pre-game player motivation are greater when his team is behind the eight ball on a national, prime-time stage. Let's hope Payton does to Pete Carroll tonight what he did to Bill Parcells in 2006.
