Know Thine Enemy - The Carolina Panthers

Editor's Note:

New week, new game. New venue, new developments... Everything clean -- everything new... Wash away the now crusty waxing that was laid on us two weeks ago...

That was weird. Okay, so instead of making a new fanpost I figure we just get this one cranked back up. There probably isn't as much to jabber over since we sort of know what's up after week 14's game. But regardless, if you want to talk some smack (but let's keep it fun, not douchey) or exchange holiday recipes then have at it.

Other than that -- we'll see you Sunday on the corner of Mint and Tryon, brother. Woooooooo!

Bonjour Saints des fans!

I hope you don't mind, but we (catscratchreader.com) try to drop in every Wednesday before our games to talk to the opponent's fans.

So this is a big one. We've both come a long way since our week 17 matchup last January. You guys have your mojo back, and our coaching staff (and front office) has started to figure out how to win games. As fans, these are the types of games we hope for. Meaningful games in December, under the lights on national television.

You guys are a 3-3.5 point favorite, essentially on the strength of this game being in N.O (home teams usually get around 3 points). I feel like that's probably a good line. Our teams seem to be pretty evenly matched. Your game Monday in Seattle isn't fooling anyone in Carolina... we know that is a very hard place to play, and we know that team is tough as nails (they gave us one of our 3 Ls this season -- at our place).

I don't want to ramble. If you have any questions about the Panthers, feel free to ask. If you have questions about an outsider's perception of your team, fire away. Here's to a good game Sunday night!

Extremely long PS:

We have tried to do a 'player swap' with every opponent, where I pick a player I'd take from your team and invite you to do the same in the comment section. If I had to take one guy (taking age, contract, etc into consideration) it would have to be Jimmy Graham, with the runner-up being Jahri Evans (he's be my choice if he was younger). Adding Graham would give us the best TE duo in the league, he's quite young and he's going to be signed to a long-term contract in the offseason, guaranteeing that he stay with the team for a while.
