The two position groups Saints fans are most interested in this off-season completed the bench press yesterday and will take the field for workouts today. Here's your official open thread while you watch all the action.
If there is one day of the 2013 NFL Combine to which Saints fans should pay most attention, it's today as the linebackers and defensive lineman take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium for on-field workouts.
Yesterday these guys completed the bench press portion of their audition. Defensive end Margus Hunt from SMU and Missouri Southern State's DT Brandon Williams led the pack, both getting 38 reps. DT Akeem Spence of Illinois was close behind with 37. You can see full results right here on NFL.com.
Barkevious Mingo, Sharrif Floyd, Sam Montgomery, Dion Jordan and Johnathan Hankins, draft prospects being associated with the Saints, didn't lift but are all expected to be available for the on-field workouts.
