According to a source, free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha will visit the Saints today.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk heard via a tweet from Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com (who knows a guy) that former Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is scheduled to visit with the New Orleans Saints today.

Florio notes Asomugha's Rob Ryan connection as a possible reason for optimism for those who seek an Asomugha signing by the Saints (for the right price):
As recently explained, the relationship between Asomugha and Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan could be a huge factor. "[Asomugha] loves him and trusts him," a source with knowledge of the situation recently told PFT. [link added]
The Nnamdi-Ryan connnection, which traces to their mutual time together in Oakland, nearly resulted in Asomugha joining the Cowboys in 2011.
Yesterday morning, Florio promulgated the news that Asomugha and the San Francisco 49ers were in "serious discussion" in this post that also dips into the "former players on TV: are they analysts or reporters?" debate. I recommend you read it and decide for yourself. About everything.
Maybe Nnamdi will end up being the Pierson Prioleau 2.0 folks are looking for (sorry, Victor Butler). Your CSC team of never players turned hack-blogger-analyst-reporter-strippers will be following this story throughout the day, ready to being you the "up-to-the-minute" breaking rumors news whenever possible.
How's this development grab you on Sunday morning? Reports of coffee-keyboard snorks are always welcome!!
