I just checked NFL.com, and apparently, the Saints just signed Jim Leonhard from the Broncos on a one year deal. I was actually kind of surprised by this move if it's true, but I thought about it and I don't think it's a bad move. It's a cheap way to bring in some talent and experience and a veteran presence in the locker room. I have to think the fact Rob Ryan is our defensive coordinator and Jim Leonhard previously played for Rex Ryan's Jets has something to do with this move. But this signing I think makes Roman Harper a bit more expendable or, although I would still like the Saints to draft Kenny Vaccaro or Jonathan Cyprien (who is my favorite safety in this draft). Anyways, I saw there were no posts about this yet and thought I'd share my thoughts and see what everyone else has to say about this move.
