Jim Leonhard

I just checked NFL.com, and apparently, the Saints just signed Jim Leonhard from the Broncos on a one year deal. I was actually kind of surprised by this move if it's true, but I thought about it and I don't think it's a bad move. It's a cheap way to bring in some talent and experience and a veteran presence in the locker room. I have to think the fact Rob Ryan is our defensive coordinator and Jim Leonhard previously played for Rex Ryan's Jets has something to do with this move. But this signing I think makes Roman Harper a bit more expendable or, although I would still like the Saints to draft Kenny Vaccaro or Jonathan Cyprien (who is my favorite safety in this draft). Anyways, I saw there were no posts about this yet and thought I'd share my thoughts and see what everyone else has to say about this move. Here is the link to the Free Agency Tracker on NFl.com where I found this information: http://www.nfl.com/freeagency
