Saints News 6/14/13: Former Saints DE Joe Owens Passes Away

Owens enjoyed the finest season of his career in 1974, when he was inserted into the right defensive end position in passing situations, and led the team with 10 sacks, while adding a fumble recovery, as the Saints progressed to win five games and finished in third place in the NFC West for the first time. He was a regular annual visitor to Saints Hall of Fame week.
