PFT's Mt. Saintsmore Now Etched In Stone

The more things change, the more they stay the same...

Read on to see how others view our Saints franchise's most monumental figures...

Last night, profootballtalk.com posted their version of Mount Saintsmore, and for their Faces of the Franchise series, the folks there have chosen the EXACT same Mt. Saintsmore lineup that we elected here at CSC. VINIFICATION (for some)!!!

CLICK HERE to read the rationale and watch the accompanying video of Floriotalk and then some other online bobbleheads state a case for owner Tom Benson, previous NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue, and both Wille Roaf and Rickey Jackson making it. Video includes their photo version of the monument...

The fan voting @ PFT saw Roaf and Payton bump Rickey off the mountain, and here are the Top 6 Finishers:

Drew Brees - 92%

Archie Manning - 60%

Willie Roaf - 44%

Sean Payton - 44%

Rickey Jackson - 36%

Morten Andersen 32%

What do you think of this fan vote vs. the PFT actual selection for their Saints Mt. Rushmore? They allowed a fan vote, but then applied their selection as the real deal...what does that mean for the state of democracy? Could their fan vote have gotten hacked, too?

Time to rip off the Band-Aid and open this just-scabbed over wound again for some ultimately pointless discussion - GO!!
