Saints Training Camp Recap, 8/13/13: Defense Wins the Day Again, Offense Forced To Run Extra Gassers

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sport

After coaches controversially ruled Jimmy Graham down during a spirited two-minute drill instead of awarding him the TD and later after Malcolm Jenkins stepped in front of Lance Moore for a Drew Brees INT, defensive players reportedly didn't hold back their celebration because this win meant that offensive players had to run extra gassers. The Graham Reaper insists he wasn't down and would have scored the TD after he caught a 65-yard bomb from Breesus. It's nice that the defense is winning some battles. I'm not worried about the offense.
