Evidently, the weatherman says that "three to four inches" of snow could fall over the next couple of days. Now, as some of you may know, this will cause a certain apocalyptic panic among citizens across the Southern Louisiana region. I'm fixing to run to Calvin's market, the local grocer, and make groceries as if I'm preparing for the Great Blizzard of 1842 (I don't know if there has ever been a Great Blizzard of 1842, but if there was I bet it was a tragic natural disaster)
I hope to survive the coming storm, and I say that because listening to people around town and the folks on local news channels would lead one to believe that we are all facing imminent death. I will keep you all posted on the comment thread below.
And just in case you never hear from me again, just know that the Gator probably froze to death somewhere near Independence Park in Baton Rouge because he thought it would be a cool idea to play football in a "winter storm".
