NFL Week 6 Viewing maps

Ok, I'm here, a day late (and a dollar short as always) but the Saints have their bye week this week.. With no Saints football to watch and some of you might be wondering what games are gonna be on TV this weekend (especially people like me that do NOT have Sunday ticket) you might be wondering what game is going to be on this weekend.

As always, here is a link to a site that can tell you what games you are getting in that case this coming up weekend...NFL Week 6 Maps, Now these maps are unofficial, but they do a good job of updating them as we get closer to Sunday

This week, FOX has the doubleheader (Early and Late game) while viewers on CBS will only get 1 game

For CBS most will get the Broncos and the Jets, while there is a unusual thing happening on FOX this weekend..

While most FOX viewers will get the Packers and the Dolphins for the early game, and the Cowboys and the Seahawks for the late game, The New England @ Buffalo game is being shown on FOX despite both teams being in the AFC, which would normally be on CBS. This is called "Cross-flex" and the reasoning behind it is to try and get the game to a wider audience than would normally be seen. In this case, that game will be shown to most of the northern north east and also the Rocky Mountain states, along with the Houston and Beaumont markets in Texas. if that game had not been been moved to FOX, most likely it would have only been shown in New England. So it all boils down to ratings for the NFL and the networks.. This is new year and they will give notice if a game should be moved to another Network.. Also, this is only for CBS and FOX games, so if there is a Sunday night game on NBC, there is another procedure which is still known as flex scheduling. which I will go into next week.

I also would like to thank some of my "peeps" who have expressed well wishes the last few days to me and my family.. in case you aren't friends with me on Facebook or Twitter, my Grandfather was diagnosed with colon cancer the day before yesterday.. Today has been the first day this week I have not been involved with Doctors and the like. (I'm just now trying to catch up with my Saints news) The good news is that we think we caught it early and it appears to be very treatable.. But I want to let you know in advance in case you are looking for my posts and you don't see them what the deal is. This is also why I am changing my profile pic to a Dark blue ribbon, (even during the month of everything pink in the NFL)

As always if you have any questions about NFL broadcasting rules or why is this game being shown "there" but not "here", feel free to ask them below, if I don't know an answer, I will try and find it for you.. also feel free to "rep your city" and what game you are getting!!
