NFL Free Agency 2014: Grading the Saints

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sport

Time to find out how Who Dat Nation feels about the Saints 2014 free agency moves so far.

The 2014 NFL free agency period is now a week old and the signing action has slowed significantly as we enter the second phase.

Despite what feels like a lot of wheeling and dealing, the Saints have really only made a few moves. Perhaps it just feels that way because the signing of Jairus Byrd was so wonderfully surprising. Or I guess it could have been Darren Sproles' wife keeping things interesting in the days leading up to her husband's trade to Philadelphia for a 5th round pick. Other than that, plus the re-signing of both Zach Strief and Ramon Humber, it's been relatively quiet on Airline Drive.

But it's another off-season where the Saints are financially limited so credit where credit is due. The Saints have done quite a lot with quite little. They've still got a couple of needs to address but considering where they stood at the start of the free agency period, I'd say they've exceeded my personal expectations for week one.

That's just my opinion. But I want to take the temperature of Who Dat Nation and find out how the majority feels. What grade would you give the Saints so far in free agency? Be sure to vote in the poll below.
