Saints News, 3/5/14: Should Saints Pursue Jared Allen?

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

It's widely believed that the Vikings will soon part ways with DE Jared Allen. “I think for my next team it will come down to a chance to win, a good organization, as well as getting a fair contract," Allen said today. Should the cap-strapped Saints give him a look-see under the right contract terms? A better question might be: Would Saints fans want him? With the emergence of pass-rushers Cam Jordan and Junior Galette last year, defensive end doesn't seem like a position of need, but it's sure fun to stir the pot with hypotheticals.
