Saints News, 3/7/14: Zach Strief To Test The Market In Free Agency

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sport

Strief's agent tweeted today that New Orleans "is not in a position to make an offer at this time," so Zach will become a free agent on Tuesday where he will be allowed to test the open market to see what teams are willing to pay for his blocking services. Could his former position coach Aaron Kromer in Chicago make a play for him? Seems like the Saints want him back but aren't in a salary cap position right now where they'd be able to go ahead and re-sign him before free agency begins.
