Saints News, 5/21/14: 'Healthy' Tom Benson Returns Home After Trip To Hospital

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sport

New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson returned home from Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon after staying overnight to be evaluated for a possible concussion. Team spokesman Greg Bensel said doctors didn’t want Benson to fly on Tuesday night, but said “he is doing great.” Benson was taken to the hospital Tuesday after stumbling and hitting his head during the NFL meetings. He tripped while exiting the podium during New Orleans’ pitch to host the 2018 Super Bowl.
