The Draft

I want the Saints to trade down. I'm hoping for Bridgewater to drop past Cleveland. If so we could get a better trade than the one I am about to propose. Rumors have it that Minnesota, Cleveland and St. Louis are all looking to trade back into the first round. I think the best shot is Minnesota for us. I propose we trade down from 27 to 40 and get an additional pick at 96. Then my selections would be:

40: Marcus Martin c Southern Cal

Our primary need, the best available at his position in this draft.

58: Cal Bradford olb Arizona St.

Solid pass rusher. Can play the three point.

91: Stanley Jean Baptiste cb Nebraska

Tall with long arms and ran a 4.45 in workouts.

96: Kevin Norwood wr Alabama

Tall with long arms and good hands. Needs to bulk up a bit.

126: Shaquelle Evans wr UCLA

Tall with long arms and good hands and some speed. Doesn't have a quick burst.

167: Seantrel Henderson ot Miami

BIG!!!! 6'7" 331. Had off the field issues.

169:De'Anthony Thomas rb/kr Oregon

Darren Sproles Type.

My hope. What do you think?
