Saints News, 6/24/14: Upcoming Graham Ruling Drawing Watchful Eyes Of NFL Tight Ends

Still no ruling on last week's Jimmy Graham grievance hearing on how the franchise tag should be applied to him. Other tight ends around the NFL are watching closely to see what happens and how that ruling might apply to them in future years. Vernon Davis is one who has spoken to the media about it and Lions rookie TE Eric Ebron is another. Ebron said he thinks it’s time for the NFL to create a new position to encompass hybrid players who don’t really fit the traditional mold of a wide receiver or a tight end.
