After a brief hiatus it's time to put the final touches on our "Most Hated Person in Saints History" tournament and finish up the Final Four round. The second of two exciting semifinal matches pits a terrible coach and a draft bust, Mike Ditka and Johnathan Sullivan, face to face against each other in an epic battle. The winner goes on to battle Gregg Williams in the grand finale.
The full tournament can be found directly below. Our matchup today is between the No. 34 ranked Mike Ditka vs. No. 6 ranked Johnathan Sullivan.
Ditka beat out Albert Connell, Steve Walsh, Rick Middleton, and No. 2 seeded Russell Erxleben in a second round upset to get here. Sullivan's difficult road to the Final Four saw him take down tough opponents Josh Bullocks, Chip Lohmiller, Irv Smith and heavy favorite Aaron Brooks.
For those who haven't been following along, we've got a full 64-person bracket packed with all the ghosts from Saints past that you love to hate. We're going matchup by matchup, choosing the more hated Saints figure each time, until we've finally crowned a winner as the most hated person in Saints history.
Your decision can be based on anything you'd like, whether it's on the field performance, off the field antics, or anything in between. Voting will be open for exactly 48 hours from the time of publish. Voting results and brackets will be updated as we go along.
