1st Quarter
The Eagles start with the ball and reach the Saints' side of the field. On 4th and seven, Philadelphia misfires and the Saints take over on downs, but stall after two incompletions by Brees to Willie Snead on the Eagles' side of the field. Philadelphia then had a chance to take the lead, but cornerback Brandon Browner picked a Sam Bradford pass intended to Riley Cooper in the endzone.
Starting on their 20-yard line after the touchback, the Saints drive 80 yards in 3:49 minutes and cap the drive with a touchdown pass from Brees to tight end Benjamin Watson to give the Saints a 7-0 lead.

2nd quarter
The Eagles drive the length of the field and once again, Bradford is picked off in the endzone, this time by Delvin Breaux. As Breaux records his first interception of his NFL career, the Saints record their second of the season.
New Orleans promptly stalls on a long incompletion from Brees to Cooks. The Eagles then take the ball and drive the length of the field. A touchdown pass from Bradford to Huff levels the score to seven. New Orleans proceeds to stall again, after a Marques Colston's drop on third down. The Eagles, after taking the ball, stall again after attempting a fourth down and nine play that Keenan Lewis beautifully breaks up. The Saints however do nothing with the possession, except for being able to flip the field.
Philadelphia stalls and punts the ball to the Saints, but Brees gets sacked and fumbles on the Saints' side of the field. The Eagles take advantage and score a field goal just before halftime to take a 10-7 lead.

3rd Quarter
The Saints start with the ball and on their first third down play, Brees hits Cooks for a beautiful 47 yards reception. The Saints however can't convert in the redzone and settle for a 21-yard field goal to tie the game at 10.
The ensuing Eagles' drive takes them all the way into the Saints' endzone for a touchdown run by Ryan Matthews. Philadelphia takes a 17-10 lead. On the ensuing possession, Brees gets sacked and fumbles again, but this time deep in Saints' territory. The Eagles capitalize on the very next play with a touchdown pass to Brent Celek. 4th Quarter
Going into the fourth quarter, the Eagles add another three points to lead 29-10. The Saints drive dep into Philadelphia territory, but a fumble by tight end Michael Hoomanawanui ends that drive. The Eagles add another field goal to go up 32-10, then after another Brees interception, Philadelphia adds a rushing touchdown by DeMarco Murray to go up 39-10. The Saints would eventually score a garbage time touchdown on a pass from Brees to Cooks to end the game at 39-17.
The Saints now have a short week before facing the 5-0 Atlanta Falcons in the Superdome on Thursday Night Football. If you were still holding out some playoffs hope for this team, you are a much more optimistic man than I am.
But as always: WHO DAT!!!
