Forget digging through tons of stories and transcripts about the New Orleans Saints minicamp yesterday. Here's the abridged, bullet point version of all the action:
- Delvin Breaux is still awesome. He's now the first team nickel cornerback because Kyle Wilson has been sucking. Breaux left practice early with trainer Scottie Patton.
- Brandin Cooks is f***ing fast.
- New defensive tackle Kevin Williams saw a bunch of snaps with the first team because Akiem Hicks and Brodrick Bunkley sat out.
- John Carney will be hanging out with the two new kickers this week.
- R.J. Harris had the catch of the day with a sweet diving reception.
- Ben Watson is coming on strong in the push to be your starting tight end in 2015.
- The Saints have brought in a punter (Chase Tenpenny), long snapper (Chris Highland), and a wide receiver (Matt James) on a tryout basis.
- Davis Tull should be healthy and ready by training camp.
- Nick Toon bobbled a pass that lead to an interception.
- Steve Gleason was in attendance.
- Official referees were also in attendance to answer questions.
- Drew Brees didn't wear the glove he experimented with last week during OTAs.
- Josh Morgan is now wearing No. 17.
- C.J. Spiller will definitely be vying for the kickoff and punt return jobs.
- Marques Colston didn't practice, but there's nothing wrong with him.
- Junior Galette will hopefully be back to practice by training camp.
