Where Y'at, Dan Kelly?

The Denver Broncos just set a new NFL record for being the most frequent passing regular season team to ever win a Super Bowl. 606 passing attempts vs 411 rushing attempts equates to 59.6% pass heavy. This tops the previous high, which transpired in 2011, when the New York Giants passed 58.9% of the time in the regular season.

That said, this is the fourth consecutive season, since a friendly wager between Dan Kelly and myself, that the eventual Super Bowl champion has failed to pass 60% of the time or more during the regular season. As some of you may recall, Mr. Kelly GUARANTEED that this would occur within the next five seasons. This means he is now down to his final season in 2016.

Stay tuned.
