If you wanted a reason to smile today as a New Orleans Saints fan, then you just got your wish. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the Seattle Seahawks are cutting veteran cornerback Brandon Browner.

Browner, who easily climbed the ranks as one of the Saints’ worst free agent acquisitions in franchise history, was released by the team after a disappointing 2015 campaign. The veteran corner was definitively one of the league’s worst, and his off-the-field Twitter posts and locker room run-ins were something we grew accustomed to.
At the end of May, Browner summed up his time with New Orleans when he took to Instagram to say that the Saints were ‘weak’ and that he ‘took the few millions and ran with it.’ Browner was also tied up with an alleged assault in July, but did not bring up charges.
Browner’s outlook for 2016 is in serious question.
