Truly sorry to read of Deuce's loss of his grandfather.  My sincerest condolences to him and his family. I know that Rotoworld had commented that he was still planning on making the trip to Chicago for the game, but i dont think anyone could blame him for missing the game.  I would have to assume that with his kind of character, he will want to be there to help out his team as he is needed.

Hey boys and girls....ala Rotoworld this morning...

The NFLPA will file a lawsuit Thursday to overturn all suspensions issued Tuesday by the league for any player who took Starcaps.

This lawsuit could eventually be combined with the temporary "restraining order" Vikings DTs Pat and Kevin Williams were already granted on Wednesday that may allow the Vikings to play. The NFLPA case would also include the three suspended Saints. A ruling could be down by Friday.

It all starts with the tailgating!

Hey hey everybody...

Just got back from KC yesterday.  Have to say was quite the trip.  After a fairly pain free 13 hour drive we arrived at our hotel in KC.  As we were checking in, a few guys were commenting on the Saints Jersey i was wearing (my Brees jersey i designated as my driving jersey for the trip).  One of the guys made a comment that KC was going to lay a beating on Drew.  When asked to elaborate, he said, have you ever heard of #72, to which i replied "of course, we were attempting to trade up in the draft for a crack at Dorsey".  To which he further replied "well have you ever met him, cuz there he is".  My buddy Clint got a pic with him.  This pic does not do Dorsey justice.  The guy is huge.  Apparently he had rented a bus and brought his family and friends down and coincidentally they were at the same hotel as us.  Nice guy.  I have a new found respect for QB's!

Tailgating was how we started off the day, we had drove a long way so we didn't bring a BBQ, but we did have more than enough beer to offer around.  Parked beside a couple from Wichita who were super friendly and offered to share what they had brought to eat.  Played some version of a bean bag toss game and just hung out.  BBQ steaks and beer.  Nice.  That is until Darth Chief showed up and started whacking me with his light saber to the amusement of those within sight.

After a few hours of mingling with the tailgaters and drinking, we headed into Arrowhead for the warm-ups.

Me and the pregnant missus.  The comments she was firing at the Chiefs fans made me glad she is preggo and couldn't drink.  It would have been ugly if she was looped.  Good to note the Shockey jersey did not get stretched out at all over the baby bump.

It was a hell of a trip, met a lot of super friendly people.  The only downside to the trip was that my car died in Ames, Iowa.  The main reason it took me so long to get back.  Had to sell the car for salvage and rent a car back to Canada.

Looks like we may possibly get more help in the secondary.  Dont know if the Saints are interested at this point in time:

"Josina Anderson of My Fox Colorado cites an NFL source who claims that there has been a "rash of positive tests" under the steroid policy.
Saints Deuce McAllister and Will Smith were two players included in group of six to ten. The NFL source claims the positive tests were the result of players taking "water pills" to lose weight, but water pills also contain a masking agent for steroids. We hesitated to post the story because Anderson is on her own here and the story is far from certain. However, she has been out in front on similar stories in the past. The players would be subject to a four-game suspension, but the case could already be under appeal if true."
