Have Your Deuce and Eat it too!

In other sandwich-related news ....

Even though McAlister Deli isn't related to Deuce McAllister -- at least, I don't believe they are, since they have alternative spellings -- it was only a matter of time before the deli chain partnered with the running back/entrepreneur to brand some food. (Last item) Introducing: The Deuce

Former New York Yankees star Reggie Jackson had a candy bar. Saints running back Deuce McAllister has a sandwich, which was introduced Monday at McAlister Deli locations in Louisiana and Mississippi.

McAllister, a spokesman for the restaurant, helped create the sandwich which is a grilled chicken breast topped with provolone, lettuce and tomato, spicy creole dressing and honey mustard served on ciabatta bread.

I don't have a McAlister Deli close to me, much less a McAlister Deli that's dropped The Deuce (swish), but if anybody experiences this sandwich and wants to write a diary about it, I would be willing to promote it to the front page. But there would have to be pictures. Can java script create smells?
