Fleur-De-Links Friday, October 22: August and Everything After

Given that training camp and the 2010 season pretty much started in August, and since I heard 'Round Here on the radio on the way home from work today (on the Indiana High School low-power FM station in my area), I just HAD to play this solidly deep (more than 3 decent tracks on it) Counting Crows album as I collected stories for this links post. Then I had to use that title as the title.  After listening to the album again, I recall that when I bought it in college, I liked one or two songs and that my appreciation of this album really grew as I listened to it more in the late 90's.

Next up in my CD player is Johnny Cash American IV: The Man Comes Around as I finish putting this post together.

What's that?  Saints football?  Oh yeah, is that the reason we're here?  I'm sorry, I must have dropped into some self-indulgent introspection for a paragraph or two.

If you're here for the football, then make the jump to read the tweets, follow the links to the stories, watch the videos, and soak it all in as we are now two days away from bruising the Browns.

If you're here for the music talk, let's start a separate, O-T thread.
