So uh, I enjoyed that half. The Saints didn't have a third down until mid way through the 3rd quarter, and converted it. This was a hell of a quarter by all three units of the Saints. The offense was productive, the defense was able to get turnovers and were able to stop the Colts when it counted, the special teams got their job done. It's the first time I can easily say the Saints proved, on all facets of the sport, that they are a contending team.
If you have any complaints, it's because the Colts didn't bring their A game in this half. However, the Saints have to keep on their toes to make sure the Colts don't come roaring back in the second half. This isn't a team that usually falls asleep at the wheel, but it has to be emphasized to play until the game is over.
