Saints 0 @ Rams 17: Anything That Can Go Wrong...

...has gone wrong for the Saints in their matchup against the Rams, who lead 17-0 through one half of play in St. Louis. The Saints offense has been held scoreless, Drew has thrown an interception, John Kasay missed a field goal, Thomas Morstead had a punt blocked and the stupid penalties have started piling up. It's been ugly.

Quite a different story following their 62 point drubbing of Indianapolis just last week and certainly not the game anyone thought they'd see today. I'm also surprised the Saints haven't been running it more against the worst rush defense in the league.

The only bright spot I can think of right now has been the play of defensive end Will Smith

But there is still another half to play and the Saints will start with the ball. Let's see how the team adjusts.
