Well, the offense finally kicked the rust off, and after a scoreless first quarter that featured a failed fake field goal by the Saints, they fired 21 points up on the scoreboard to the Giants' 3 points for a comfortable halftime lead.
Lance Moore has two of the TDs, Jimmy Graham has the other one, and Drew Brees is looking more and more immortal: 17 of 25 for 265, the three aforementioned TDs, and 0 INTS.
The defense, while giving up quite a lot of yardage, has tightened up to make the stops needed to hold the Giants to punts, one missed and one made one field goal, and an end zone interception of Eli Manning by Will Herring.
Let's get this party going again, Saints! Come on in to join the discussion of the second half.
