JACKSON, Miss. -- Mississippi lawmakers have agreed to create a state license plate to commemorate the New Orleans Saints' Super Bowl championship season. A bill authorizing the car tag passed the House last month, then passed the Senate on Thursday. Now, it's headed to Gov. Haley Barbour. People would pay an additional $50 for the Saints tag in Mississippi....

ESPN's Adam Schefter, who reported that Williams would interview for the job today, added that Williams withdrew himself from consideration based on loyalty to the Saints and to former Titans Coach Jeff Fisher, whom he considers his closest friend in the business.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints each finished with a 6-2 road record. No division ever had three teams with a road record better than 6-2 in the same season since realignment in 2002.

Tampa Bay’s Raheem Morris finished second in The Associated Press’ Coach of the Year voting. New England’s Bill Belichick won by a large margin, collecting 38 votes. Morris had 11.5 in a year in which he took the Bucs from 3-13 to 10-6.

New Orleans. The Saints only had four picks in this draft and two of them, linebacker Stanley Arnoux (fourth round) and safety Chip Vaughn (fourth round) haven’t been factors due to injuries. But the Saints got it right on their other top picks. First-rounder Malcolm Jenkins showed big-time skills in his first season as a starting safety. Thomas Morstead (fifth round) quickly has become one of the league’s best punters. Grade: B+
