It's been nearly a full year since the Saints won Super Bowl XLIV, their first championship in the team's 43 year history. Today, however, a new champion will be crowned. So soak it all up and enjoy these last remaining hours because today, my friends, is the last day the New Orleans Saints will hold the title of World Champions. At least for a little while.

The Saints sent out an e-mail message to their fans this morning with a 'thank you' message attached to this tribute video...

The entire New Orleans Saints organization would like to thank you, the fans, for an unforgettable Championship year. We believe no fans have ever supported a team, celebrated a title, and deserved a Super Bowl more. We look forward to many more winning seasons. Together we won a title, together we can do it again. Please enjoy this video commemorating our Championship season and we look forward to seeing you back in the Dome in 2011.
